WIP Wednesday

I've been busy in the sewing room and making lots of forward progress, for me, at least. First up, I finally just decided with a little nudge from my friend, Linda J to 'just do it'. The result is that this morning I was sewing on the final border of the blue and yellow Strip Twist...

...and in all its glory. Now to quilt it :0)

Second, I finally wrote a little message on the quilts for Pam's M2M. She is planning a trip in August and I want to make sure these quilts arrive in plenty of time!
Hope to finish packing them up and get them shipped when I'm in town tomorrow.

Thirdly, tomorrow night is guild! and, of course Show and Tell. I've been working on quilting the floral Disappearing 9 Patch. I'm using the Trailing Vine panto from Willow Leaf Studios. I hope to be able to finish the quilting this afternoon and maybe sew the binding on tomorrow morning before my town trip! But right now, I'm hungry so I'll be peeking in the 'fridge and finding some leftovers to eat :0)

Way to go, Pat! Meeting an exceeding expectations, I would say as you are quilting as well.

I'm still piddling unfortunately and more nagging will be needed, LOL. DJ needed me to help him with something this morning and then we went out to lunch. Depending on what size blocks this row requires I know what I want to do. Does that count?

That sounds like our LinaJ..."Just do it!" LOL

I love the yellow and blue strip twist. That one is on my list of "to dos".

I have been catching up on my blog reading this evening. I love the Elvis quilt and the companion fabrics go so well together. I also love the blue and yellow--well done! You have certainly been busy, as always!
