This could be bad...

I went to Patched Works Quilt Shop today and this is what jumped in my hands and begged to come home with me.

How could I refuse?! All but the violets were from the 20% off sale section!

The violets, ice cream and fortune cookies will be gifted to my bee friends when I visit next month (Shhh! JoAnne and Maureen...no spilling the beans! :) ) The bicycles will be for the back of Uncle M.'s Bicycle T Shirt quilt (construction hopefully will begin in January of '09). The maroons I just started collecting for a quilt for DH (his college colors are maroon and gold) and the charm pack is for The Box that I'm filling of stuff...both quilting and non-quilting. The Box is an idea from a fellow quilt friend/member that has a friend in a guild that her guild did this...find The Box and one person fills it with stuff (quilting and other things quilters might like), anyone in the guild can put her/his name in a drawing, the winner gets what is inside The Box. Next month, the previous month's winner will fill The Box and a new name gets drawn! I thought it sounded like fun so I thought I would buy The Box and fill it the first month. Hopefully, the guild members will like this little 'extra'

The bad...16 yards! 1 for DH's quilt, 6 for Uncle M.'s backing and 9 for the bee gifts plus the charm pack! I better get busy again in the sewing room :)

Pat, I think you kept yourself in pretty good restraint considering what you could have brought home. That shop is full of temptation. *s*

Love the violets! Looks to me like you gave me a great destination the next time we visit my aunt and uncle in WI! That's really dangerous now that you can only take 1 bag if that on the plane though.....

You have been a busy girl. I am so far behind visiting blogs. Great work. I love the framed kitty quilt.

It all looks so good! Especially the ice cream sundies. And then the post with the strawberry trifle, uh, gotta go, feel a need for a sugar rush!

So you slipped off the stashbusting wagon--no biggie since you were not buying aimlessly with no projects down the line. Might not help your totals come Sunday but you would be down anyway since you are going OOT. See, it all works out.

Seriously though, some very good finds there!

Have a safe trip and come back refreshed and ready to hit it in the "sewing it up" department!

I won't spill - don't worry! Were the nickel blocks from the Moda bright Christmas line? I bought the panel some time ago and then I got the fat quarters! I really have to make something with it. I just love it! Unfortunately, all of this trailer time has cut into my sewing time. That's okay though, I should get time over the next couple of months.

See you soon!
