WIP Wednesday

Today I was able to sew the remaining smaller blocks for the R/W/B Bento Box quilt top. One row was sewn into the larger 18 inch blocks and the bottom row needs joining into larger blocks then the whole top needs to be sewn together. The top two rows are pictured here (scroll to third picture).

After dinner, the kids and I went to the home improvement store to buy a piece of acrylic for the bottom of the 'jack' tote. Of course, right next door is the local Dairy Queen and a Pumpkin Pie Blizzard! woohoo! yummy! Thanks, Pam for suggesting this wonderful treat! Smooth, sweet, crunchy and light pumpkin flavor!

I can't decide whether to be sad or grateful there's no DQ near me.

Those Bento Boxes are looking good! Think that is one on Norma's "wanna make" list.

I would have to drive about 13 miles to get to a DQ so I guess I better just clean the slobber off the screen and let you enjoy yours. I would only get one if I happened to be down there---and without DJ. Oh well!

Thanks, Pat, for reminding me about the BB pattern.....it's in my "pile" of someday quilt projects....gotta get going on those UFOs now that we're back.

Oh I think Dairy queen would see me alot. We have a sonic down the street and visited it alot this summer for their ice cream freezes.

I am in spired to make a Bento Box. I guess I should finish a project first. LOL.

I've seen the Bento Box pattern before but had no idea the blocks were so big. With an 18-inch block, those would go together pretty quick!
