Almost Ready

The Seven Layer Bars are cut and ready to go. I take a pan to Brother#4's house and a pan to my in-laws. I had 6 over-ripe bananas so decided to make a couple loaves of banana bread. These will go into the freezer for eating after the holidays. The laundry is almost done, so I am zero-ing in on it!

I neglected to tell you that we leave on the 23rd...tomorrow. Since we are 'travellers', Santa has always known and arrived early at our house. This year was no different and look what the children gave me!

DS gave me an assortment of fat quarters.

DD also shopped at the LQS. She gave me an Eleanor Burns book I wanted and 2 (yes, 2!) yards of this wonderful dog fabric!

I am truly blessed!

Oh, I see cocker spaniels in that fabric! Woohooo!

The kids know you well!

Sweet! Do I see some more oriental fabrics in that mix? Those should go with the ones you got that quilt group the other day for your budding stash.

I do hope you have a safe and uneventful trip. All that snow and maybe icing conditions this time of year.

The bread looks yummy!

Oh, great book, you are a lucky gal! :) I think I love every book I've ever been able to peek through of Eleanor Burns. :)
