Stash Busting Report Week #12

I accomplished a few things, others went un-done.

Here is my report:

Fabric added this week: 2 yards
Fabric added this year: 25 yards

Fabric used this week: -8 yards
Fabric used this year: -76 yards

Net fabric for the year: -51 yards

What I accomplished this week:
  • pieced 6 Easter/Spring Table Toppers
  • Sewing Machine Thingee
  • made 2 Totes

Goals for next week:

  • finish the remaining totes

My leg is hurting again, so this week will be spent resting/rehabbing it. A return to visit to the Doctor is probably in order, too. Last fall it took a few weeks before I was mobile without pain...hopefully this time around will be shorter since I know what to expect and do. I'll be the one with the heating pad...just in case you are looking for me. Sew some for me, okay?! :)

Gosh, Pat, I am sorry you are not feeling well.

You know sometimes we can get in a pickle from pressing the sewing machine foot pedal too much. My friend Joy had to switch over to a knee pedal at one time when she was quilting far too many quilts for the group. That is when I finally got off my butt and learned how to do my own and gave her a break.

Look after yourself. I wish you had a machine that you push button and it sews. janome has that feature and I didn't even know about it till I was watching a demo on one. I don't know if they all have that, but the traveling one 'gem'??? has it. that would be a good - no, great feature for anyone with leg things going on.

Take care of you this week Pat!! And see you next week!!

Now's the time to sew on labels, sew down binding, read patterns and plan new things. Got a rice bag handy? I like them for being to wedge them into unhandy spots without a cord.

I'm so sorry your leg is hurting again, Pat. Did you re-injure it or is it just a chronic thing from last fall?

I'll step up to the plate and sew for you! lol

I hope you feel better soon. Those leg pains are nothing to mess with. Take it easy and do some hand piecing... I did sew something for you. I finished my pie over the weekend. I'll be posting a picture in a few days. I'm just back from a four day weekend at Patsy' retreat with my mom and sister. I was 230 blog posts behind when I returned.

Hope that you feel better soon! You are organized. I wouldn't even know how to begin to catagorize my stash.
