Boxed Squares

I continued piecing the Boxed Squares sub-units today with the red/white/blue 2.5 inch strips I won at Night Guild meeting in April. Now I need to decide if I want to keep the similar units together or scramble all the units up. I had more blue strips than any other color but I am surprised that the red units are the strongest color line.

Let's see 'em mixed up - I think I'd like that better. Kind of spread the red around since it is so dominant. Don't you just love to get opinions!

I kind of like them just that way--except I'd mix up the bright whites with some of the other pales.

Next opinion....!

great use of the "strip" fabric. I think I would mix them up and see what they looked like, red always seem to dominate.

You know, when you sorta ask for opinions on the lay out you are going to get half and half decisions on what we like, LOL.

I weigh in on keep them like you have them since you don't have a lot of variety of color and texture. The eye tracks to the red anyway no matter where you put it in the mix since the blue and white read more as a neutral.

Knowing how fast you work, you probably have it all stitched together anyway, LOL.

Me? I don't like playing around with stuff all that much once it is on the design wall. Move one thing and it messes it up somewhere else and you have to move 10 more.
