Design Wall Monday

Over the weekend, I started to piece a patriotic Warm Wishes. I am one rail short (lower right corner), must have miscalculated the number that I needed as I adjusted the pattern to *fit* the suggested QOV size. I'm thinking of using the red with white stars as the border. I wonder if a narrow white inner border would look nice?

Wow, can't get any more patriotic than that! I like it! Nice collection of fabrics too, especially the one with the red and blue stars on off white. That would be a good background fabric!

the white border would give it a nice "float"

Wonderful quilt!

I made something similar featuring monster truck and flame fabrics.

I would like to see you audition a white border....

One rail short? That almost sounds like the proverbial descriptions of someone being, for example, one sandwich shy or a picnic, elevator not going all the way to the top and the like, LOL.

I love the scrappiness of the blocks!
