National Sewing Month~Sept. 4, 2010

I sewed the blue Chaos Crumb blocks. 4~6.5 inch blocks go into each bigger block. I only have the little blocks made but not sewn into the larger 12.5 inch (unfinished) block. Tomorrow's sewing, perhaps? A tutorial for making Chaos Crumb blocks can be found here...one of many tutorials *out there*.

I attended the Strip Club at Patched Works this morning. For $5.00, you receive a strip pattern and a demo on *how* to make the quilt. This month's pattern is from Moda U called Flag Day Farm (United Notions). Uses a Marti Michell 60 degree triangle ruler, figures.

Wonder if I have THAT in the sewing room?!

Here is a link to a Flag Day Farm pattern that popped up when I Google Image Searched it...

After lunch, I sewed back the binding on Butterfly Flip.

All in all, a good day of sewing activities. :)

I love that quilt, Pat. What a neat way to do the back; I agree, it's perfect! What a wonderful gift for your niece; I'm sure they'll love it.
