WIP Wednesday...

...on Thursday!

Wednesday was DD's first day as a middle schooler~6th grade already! The time is just zippin' by with her...it seems. :)

Her report: She had a good day, enjoyed changing classes and using her locker.
I went to Quilt Club meeting then leisurely browsed the store. I'm happy to report that nothing followed me home. :)
In the afternoon, I sewed the center of the Butterfly Flip together. Unfortunately a couple of blue butterflies did a flip-flop.

This morning, I sewed the border on. When I was auditioning borders, I liked this one the best. Now~I'm not so sure. I'll reserve final judgment until after it is quited and bound.

The border fabric looks fine, Pat especially if you are taking the red or blue out to the edge for binding. That should frame the blocks very nicely!

Hurray for the top finish---and not succumbing to temptation at the fabric store, LOL.

I finished sewing up my project for Marilyn but it is time to rest my back. It was NOT happy with me last night for bending over the machine for hours on end.
