My friend, Mark 911, handed me two- 3 yard cuts of fabric and said, "Just sew this top to bottom to make a quilt." I said, "okay....." But really, who wants a quilt that is 45 x108?! plus both fabrics were directional so that if I cut them in half the motif would be running sideways along the quilt...
DD suggested that I use one of the prints as a focus then simply border it out. I did add the blue from stash. :)
Ah....approx. 60 x 80 and much better. Also bigger than my design wall space. :) Thank you DD for the inspiration!
Now I'm noodling over *how* to use the extra fabric and create a back....
