Road Tripping

I put aside all and road tripped to Madison to Quilt Expo!

I didn't partake in any of the classes, sit n sew's or lectures but I was able to cruise thru the vendors and see the wonderful quilts!  Oh my! So BEAUTIFUL! The quilts on display are truly works of art.

I also did my part to help fuel the economy. lol.

From Nancy's Notions: a few rwb yard cuts, fq's and a *jelly roll*.

From Fabric Cafe: two 3 yard bundles with *free* patterns, plus since I paid cash - I got a prize: a free pattern!  sweet!

I also picked up this year's t*shirt.

I have a green one and the group at the Expo Information Booth was commenting on how *old* it was! I'm thinking only about 6 years!

I have fabric older than that in my stash - how 'bout you?!

I enjoy visiting the venders in shows like this, too. Love the patriotic fabric you purchased.

Some pieces in my stash are from my Grandma who quilted!
