Whoop! Whoop! 1.2.2015

Whoop! Whoop!

This is actually my finish from last week but again, being away from home---I wasn't able to post.

I made this Red Wing quilt for my family exchange. It was a popular gift with the guys and *got stolen* about three times! My 25 year old nephew (and huge Red Wing fan) ended up with the quilt.

Here is the quilting.

I also gifted one to my brother's brother in law. Same fabric just the black/white squares are reversed. I had told his wife (my sister in law's sister) that I would make him a Red Wing quilt when I found the fabric. :)

pattern info: 7.5 inch cut squares frames with 2.0 inch cut frames, set 5 x 7. 6 inch cut border.

panto info: Flirtatious

These quilts are a little larger than I planned as the block finishes at 10 inches rather than 9 inches so they are about 60 x 80---a generous snuggler quilt or will fit a twin bed.

Since I was away at Christmas---

MERRY BELATED CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For 2015 I want to:
  1. Sew a little for myself
  2. Sew a little for family
  3. Sew up the scrap boxes for donation quilts
Seams reasonable right?

CHEERS to 2015!

May all our sewing dreams become quilts!
