After a rough start (read lots of un-sewing!), this donation quilt is a finish! I decided to bind it in the backing fabric as I used all the yellow/green background fabric. I just have a maybe one or two 2.5 inch strips of the backing fabric leftover. Win! I went for the quick and easy panto: large scribbles.

I really like the green background fabric. It helps all of the scraps play nicely together. As someone who is strictly a stich in the ditch quilter, I love the look of the large scribbles. They make the background fabric look like its moving.
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt, love the scrappiness in the trail.
ReplyDeleteI love the strong and steady background fabric you used for the very scrappy, beautiful quilt!!!
ReplyDeleteNow that's how to use up scraps! I keep trying but don't seem to make a dent or maybe because I do scrap quilts in-between other quilts and I'm creating as many scraps as I am using! Lovely quilt. And I bet it will be fun to check out all of the fabric in it.
ReplyDeleteSEW super cute, Pat!! Congrats on your scrappy finish.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Great job on turning all those scraps into something that will bring comfort and love for years.
ReplyDeleteOh what a great one!!! Those colors are so happy!
