Finish or NOT Friday 4.25.2025

Earlier in the week, I finished the binding (by machine!) on the Beth Dutton quilt. I think she is beautiful in her simplicity. 😍

Earlier today, I finished the binding (by machine, again!) on the 2 color rail fence. This is the first in a series I am making for my 3.5 inch strip trunk show. I decided to make this set of quilt a little smaller (48 x 60) so the 'making' would be faster. 😍

pattern: 3.5 x 6.5 inch cut bricks set in Windmill pattern
(truth: I cut 3.5 wide pink/purple then sewed together on the
long side then subcut into 6.5 inch units. I then assembled
                        the blocks.)

  1. Your Beth Dutton quilt turned out wonderfully, Pat! I like the simple design. And sewing strips and then sub-cutting for the pinwheels sounds like the perfect method!
