A new week and a new 3.5 x 6.5 inch brick quilt design (to me). I'm pairing grey bricks with boy-ish novelties. This is another design I saw on Pinterest that led to a dead link.
I think I might have spent more time cutting the bricks than sewing this one!
pattern: found on Pinterest but dead link

These kind of quilts are fun to make for the kiddos. You have a nice variety of prints being showcased here, Pat
ReplyDeleteLook at that! Fun design idea, and you have the best novelty prints for it, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, I'm assuming the background is the 3.5 x 6.5". Which means the novelty prints are 6.5" square, maybe? It's very cool. I'm not sure whether I have lots of bigger pieces of novelty fabric. But it's worth checking out. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I like gray as the neutral/constant.
ReplyDeleteThat is very clever - and easy - use of the novelty prints! And the grey is a perfect pairing. Good job!
ReplyDeleteA nice twist on the usual blocks--looks good!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post
