It's been a 'slow go' here at Bell Creek Quilts...
The Irish Chain center is sewn together.
pattern: single Irish Chain and Whoo LOOOVES you?
I also quilted down the framing rails quilt. I used the large popcorn pantograpgh. A friend had given me a spool of 40 wt Omni and that is quite a bit thinner than the 40 wt Permacore, so DD is taking the curves with much better tension!
Great progress on Whoo Loves You, Pat! And it's fun to see where you quilt, too. Looks like your next rails quilt will be done in no time!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in the Irish Chain background of Whooo Loves You. This is going to be a fun one to watch grow. What is raggedy edge? Is it where you do not turn under the applique'? If so, what time of stitch do you use? I have a Baltimore Halloween quilt that I think this would work for...
ReplyDeleteVery good progress! I love the look of the applique but it isn't my fav technique~
ReplyDeleteLove the popcorn panto!!!
ReplyDeleteYour branch is perfect! Can't wait to see the owl. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
