Wendy at Pieceful Thoughts is our hostess for the SAHRR2026 Border Prompt 4. Her prompt is 'curves'. This one threw me for a loop...no pun intended!
I kept thinking 'drunkard's path' but that just wasn't working for me. So, I thought, 'impromptu curves' (after all, I do like to do wonky!) but this didn't work for me either. I then decided to make a template and raw edge applique a curvy something...
Here is what I did...
But?! What is it?
Swags?! I was going for this look...
image found on Google search: patriotic swag bunting.
Here are all my blocks/rows/prompts together:
patterns: top row: curves
second row: animal kingdom...monkey wrench blocks
third row: double...double arrow blocks
fourth row: hourglass...Ohio star blocks
fifth row: this was my start...barn stars
Sharing today with Wendy at Pieceful Thoughts.

It's bunting! And definitely perfect for your project, Pat. Looking good!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so good! And it does look like a swag or bunting! Fun!
ReplyDeleteI was also thinking drunkards path, but I ended up doing something else. Good job with the bunting!
ReplyDeleteBunting is a great idea! I'll be interested to see what position it goes in with your rows--a little rosette (yo-yo?) at each apex will make it a really snazzy bunting. Good solution!
ReplyDeleteAnother pretty row to add to your SAHRR. I love how your have interpreted this challenging project.
