I don't think I ever shared my latest 1/4 log cabin finish. I made it to donate to my friend, Bernice who in turns gives the quilts to the local VA. This VA wants quilts 48 x 48. A few blocks and borders make up really quick!
pattern: 1/4 log cabin: public domain
panto: serpentine
I also realized that I never shared the ZigZag Zoom quilt I made for the January Howell MelonHeads demonstration. I used RWB again and stripped pieced the smaller color portions for a quicker sew. This one went to the MelonHeads Veterans (different from Bernice's and Michigan QOV) in February.
pattern: Zig Zag Zoom
panto: serpentine
My 'new roomie' is giving me the stink eye! Angie!
Sharing today with Alycia at Finish or NOT Friday.

The quilting on your Veteran quilts is a perfect fit as it is reminiscent of a flag waving.
Very nice indeed, I particularly like Zig Zag Zoom. What have you done to upset the dog?
I so love your 1/4 Log Cabin quilt that I want to make some for the baby quilt drive. Let me figure out the measurements and you just might see one or two on my blog next month. Thanks for the inspiration. Congrats on getting 2 quilts finished. Your roomie is so cute. Enjoy! ;^)
Both beautiful quilts, Pat! Zigzag Zoom is a fun layout - especially the way you have the zigzag flowing dark to light and back again. I think Angie is saying "Enough with the sewing - let's go out and play!"
48 x 48 for wheelchairs? A nice size to work with. Zigzag Zoom looks great in RWB.
Ooh - I love that top quilt!
Beautiful job on these quilts!
I love both of these - the graphic design is so cool in both - the 1/4 logs with the changing color is so fun to look at!! Go You!
