I finished the next Framed quilt. This one is for my friend's twin boy~arrival date: August 23, 2013.
Quilting will be next, I also need to sew back the binding on twin girl's Framed quilt.
On a health note: I've been suffering from the flu, I think. Achey and tired all the time. and the bathroom was added today. :(
Hope I get over it sooner rather than later so I can get back to my Quilting! :)

What I'm Working on...
I wanted a wall hanging to match my Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse place mats, blogged here and here.
So my place mats were one inspiration and the other was a quilt I saw while trolling the internet called Turtle Twirl, picture found here. It was originally published in the September/October 2008 issue of Quiltmaker.
This is what I came up with...all stash and about 36 x 36.

Waukesha County Fair Quilt Judging 2013
DD and I went to the Waukesha County Fair to help judge the 4H quilts. These young quilters are absolutely phenomenal! Way better that me!!!
A few of the quilts have been invited to participate in the Wisconsin State Fair that will be held at the beginning of August. I didn't get the names of the quilters but enjoy the mini show!!
Best Quilting.
Best Theme.
Best Use of Color.
Best Borders and Bindings.
Judges' Choice.

pattern source: Framed by Karen
Johnson (you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page to find it). This time I used 9.5 inch squares (unfinished).
panto source: Angel Wings by Willow Leaf Studio Figures that I take a picture where the piecing doesn't match by a mile! :(
Sweet dragonflies, butterflies and fireflies on the back.

Another Cutie Quilted...
...I finished the second little cutie I took for the Oconomowoc Quilt Guild. These cuties only take about an hour to quilt...I wonder why I procrastinated??? I don't get it???
This cutie was pieced by Heather, I think. This one has lots of florals from my stash. :)

(this is 2 of 2---so now I am done! In time for the meeting on Thursday....after I turn them in then *someone else* will check them out to put the binding on!)
