Time to get your Whoop! Whoop! on!
Just a small whoop! for me this week...
I finished piecing my Novelty Trip Around the World to a flimsy. It's loaded complete with a pieced backing. Now to find a few hours in between running DD here and there to quilt! :)
My next project is to create a quilt using this rwb runner. I brought it a few years back at the Oconomowoc Quilt Guild rummage sale.
The plan was to make simple rail fence blocks as the main body of the quilt and the runner as the top banner. Similar to this quilt of Mary's but I wasn't *feeling it*. I thought that the rail fence might better pair with the flag panel that I received from Nancy at Wyoming Breezes.
Then I thought that the blocks for Mock Trip Around the World might work. So I pulled a few of those out and put up on the design wall. But I'm not *feeling* this either.
I found Liberty Ridge on a Google search and maybe some elements from this pattern will work. I *feel* I need to piece a few stars to *go with* the stars in the middle of the runner.
I'm sticking my fingers in my ears and singing, 'Lalalalalalalalalalalalala' trying to drown out the quilt saying, 'You must make stars!'...it's not working....
