I seemed to have done *something wrong* but Bloglovin still let me claim my blog....just don't follow the broken link, friends. :)

Pat, it might be easier to put the button on your blog. Try this
http://www.bloglovin.com/en/widgets
then go to the B button, layout add a widget or gadget and blog lovin creates the code you need to place in the html option box. You have to scroll down a bit to find that option but it is is there.

Gotcha'! A long time ago actually when I switched to Bloglovin all "my" blogs did too.
