SoScrappy Saturday 10.26.2024

Today is the fourth Saturday of October. The RSC color of the month (for me!) is brown and the Table Scraps2024 prompt was cats. YES!

I've been wanting to make Cat City from Villa Rosa for a long time and this is the perfect time.

Quick as a wink, I made a few left facing cats and right facing cats.

Next, here are the pairings.

I added enough background to make the Michigan Meals on Wheels place mat requirements.

Then I did some stitching to hold them altogether, added the binding and ta-da!

Cat Place mats...

pattern: Villa Rosa Cat City cats
quilting: outlining of the cats and seams on domestic baby Brother sewing machine.

That's a cute cat design, Pat! They made great placemats, but also would be a fun quilt with lots of colorful cats!

The kitty place mats will bring a smile to the Meals on Wheels recipients lucky enough to receive them. Great way to combine prompts.
