My finish today is the piecing of the Gumdrops quilt. I still have a few of the Hollow Nines blocks leftover so maybe there might be another Gumdrop in my future. :)
pattern: Gumdrops, found here.
I also quilted down a baby quilt for my friend. Her family is having a 'sprinkle' for her niece on Thanksgiving. She did tell me that a 'sprinkle' is for a second or third baby and not as elaborate as a 'baby shower'. Judi didn't tell me (and I didn't ask!) but I think this might be Elizabeth Hartman's Whale pattern.
pattern: Elizabeth Hartman Whales...I think. or maybe NOT!

What cute quilts. I love the gumdrops - such a cute idea. Happy Thanksgiving to you!!
The border print for the gumdrops is perfect!
Both quilts are fantastic! I've been making Hollow 9-Patch blocks too, but need to get mine joined together. Your border fabric on that quilt is perfection!
The quilts are so pretty---good job!!!
Gum drops is a great design for the hollow 9s! I love how yours is looking, and that backing is perfect, too. Very cute whale quilt!
OOO, the Hollow 9's look great in the 4-patch design with sashing. That Gumdrop pattern is a winner.
Those hollow nines look great in that setting. I love the baby quilt!
