I haven't done very much sewing or quilting this week.
I did manage to sew the binding onto DD's friend's baby quilt. Although the baby was born 5 weeks early, DD said everyone is fine. In all, it worked out well as DD was able to sign the label and I shipped it off last Monday.
Here is the quilt on the design wall. The new Momma's favorite color is yellow and DD wanted to pair black with the yellow. I was worried it would have major bumblebee vibes but I do like how it turned out. Not bumblebee-y at all. :)

JanP volunteered to quilt my MelonHead Christmas party donation quilts and I sewed the bindings on. My friend, Cher made the quilts circa 2008 and mailed them to me. When I found them, I offered to the MelonHeads Christmas Party as prizes. I'm afraid that I don't know any of the patterns or the quilting designs.
Here they are in no particular order:

The baby quilt is sweet and sunny! I bet the new mom will love it. The party gift quilts turned out lovely, too. It's got to be a good feeling to get those 2008 projects out of the house!
That yellow quilt is adorable! What a nice job you did! The other items are very seasonally pretty!
The yellow/black is sunshiny and the serpentine quilting is great! (Wonder if I could replicate that in FMQ....) I'm sure it feels good to have Cheri's quilts ready for new homes. The sampler setting (second quilt) is a good one.
Beautiful yellow quilt, so cheerful and bright! Love the wavy quilting too.
