Alycia has inspired me with all her beautiful Buckeye Beauty blocks and quilts she has been sharing. I searched her blog and here is a few of her wonderful-ness. Fast forward to our last MelonHeads meeting and one of the program is Methods for making Half Square Triangles. I immediately thought of Alycia's Buckeye Beauties and my trusty box of 4 patches that I use as leaders/enders.
I make my hst's using the tube method so I had quite a few in a jiffy. The parts are ready to sew.
This is the arrangement I leaning towards recreating.

Thata neat Buckeye Beauty design! I like how those corners extend the blocks. I don't know the tube method for HSTs - tell me more!
Hum, I like your left over four patch better than my left over 4 patches. I tend to just sew 4 together not necessarily using lights and darks. I may have to change up my box of squares to accommodate lights and darks!
Your blocks will go together quickly with all those parts ready to put together. Very pretty reds and blues.
How handy to have those lovely blocks as your leaders and enders...sure will be handy now for that beautiful design. Happy Stitching Pat!
BEB is such a versatile block! Great for a RWB combination.
what a great arrangement for a quilt! Alycia is a superior source for inspiration!
