I'm not showing a lot of finishes but I am making progress on my rope bowl candy dishes!
My finish for this week are the two mondo-type bags for the foster children's program Casual Quilters' support. I understand that new children in the system meet three times a year...Easter, Back to School and December...to choose a bag. I like to support the causes from my guilds even though these bags challenged me! I suppose if I made more (and more frequently!), the sewing would be easier. <grin>
pattern: Mondo type bag made with fabric panels

Those bags have always looked challenging to me, too! Way to go, getting two of them made!
Nice looking bags. Is that particular pattern the one requested you make? I'm not too good at being challenged these days.
They are perfect, and will be well loved.
These bags are sweet and how kind you are to share your work for such a wonderful cause.
I have a pattern for that bag but I haven't made one. Good for you to try a few for your guild project.
