I had enough leftover hst's from my Eagle October Sky to put together another quilt. I had to search the stash to 'find something' that had yellow, red and blue. I found an older spring bird fabric that was the right amount so I decided to use that as the 'panel'. I also wanted to use up some of the dark purple fabric.
pattern: Villa Rosa's October Sky
I also started the next challenge quilt for the FB QOV Working Stars group. The pattern selected is Lisa Sutherland's Five Stars Over Freedom, piecing due May1, 2026.
I had made the stars at a sew day last week.
Sharing today with Judy at Design Wall Monday.

Just look at you go with turning ideas into quilts!
That's a pretty way to use up the bird print, Pat! I like the star design, too. You pick the best reds and blues for those quilts!
