One of the highlights of my trip to Dallas was that DD and I were able to attend the Bear Creek Quilt Guild Show 2010. It was a wonderful show with many beautiful quilts! A special 'Thank You' to my friends, Maureen (craft blog and travel blog) and Alan for allowing us to stay at their home! It was a special time. :)

Vacation Shopping
Here is the fabric I brought. The monkey on the left is flannel for DD and for her American Girl doll clothes. The middle is for QOV and the right is an Andover Dimple. I was hoping to find more Dimples on clearance at one particular quilt shop in the DFW Metroplex but unfortunately for me, this was the last of it.
Here is what we brought at the Bear Creek Quilt Show. One book I was searching for~yea!, a bag (or sack) pattern, a purple thing and two patterns for American Girl doll clothes.
Pretty restrained shopping, eh?!
My mantra to DD all week long was, "If you buy it then you carry it home!"
We both we very careful in what we brought...lol! :)

It's a Top!
word!
I'm really liking this set into rings. DS suggested that I make one all red/cream and another blue/cream. That would look cool but I am running out of time as this needs to be finished for the Oconomowoc Guild two days after vacation. :)
Stash Report Week #14
A very easy week as no fabric was added and no fabric was used. No goals accomplished and no goals set!
One could be sad but Spring and warmer weather has made it to Bell Creek Quilts. DD is on Spring Break and we have a wonderful trip planned to visit Dallas and our friends there! :)

What's Up?!
The kids and I have been attending a lot of the Milwaukee Admirals hockey games as they make a run for the Calder Cup playoffs. DS and I travelled to Grand Rapids to see them play. There were 10,441 Grand Rapids Griffins fans and 3 Milwaukee Admirals fans in the crowd~quite a fun experience for us! We were also able to visit with Great Grandma for her 95th birthday and have a little supper with my Mom!
DD, DH and I are headed back to another game tonight~it should be a good one! Go Admirals!
