I'm plugging along, sewing together my continents of the Patriotic Warm Wishes.
Yesterday I ran errands. One stop was the local paper where I was able to buy this 'roll end' for $5.00. It is newsprint paper without the newsprint ink. When the rolls are too low to print a run of the paper...they sell them. I have heard that this paper is good for foundation piecing but I am going to try and use it to create a custom pantograph. The receptionist told me that the usual use is for packing for a move.

I think foundation piecing and pantographs are much more fun than moving!
hey-good thinking! have fun coming up with a panto design.
I used to buy end rolls for rubber stamping--it was great to protect the table from inks. I've never thought of using it for foundation piecing--but do use old telephone book pages.
There looks like a ton of paper still left on there. I can see where people would want to use it for packing but sewing use has got to be way more fun! Wonder if our local paper does the same thing?
