Design Wall Monday 5.13.2019

The next helping Hands Sew Day with the Oconomowoc Quilters Guild is focusing on 'bricks'. I had a lightbulb moment last week when I realized the coin quilts I love too make are also brick quilts!

Mine blown!

Here is the current coin/brick quilt I am working on as an example for Thursday's Sew Day.

pattern info:

coins/bricks cut at 3.5 x 6.5 inches
(I actually strip pieced this one!)

6 (six) columns with 21 coin/bricks
                   
sashings and inner borders cut at 2.5 inches
                   
outer borders cut at 2.5 inches
                   
approx. size (before quilting) 55 x 72 inches
