Today is the first Saturday of November of the month of assembly. Time to get my Happy Blocks out and take a look at them. I decided to stick mostly to the warm side of the color wheel. This is the hot mess waiting for me this morning. This is a combination of blocks for 2023 and 2024 and maybe 2022.
I first saw this staggered setting on
Cynthia's blog, Quilting is More Fun than Housework and I like to use it for the
Happy Blocks. After sewing the first column, I decided I wanted it longer so I added the teal blocks. As luck would have it, I found a fat quarter of the teal for the spacer blocks. Lucky!
I'll be sharing today at SoScrappy Saturday when her Linky Party appears.

The staggered setting is a great idea. I've been making Happy blocks for a while too, always such a nice easy block to sew.
Looks like another fun quilt is in the works!
