Finish or NOT Friday 6.12.2026

I have one finish this week and it's the Motorcycle Zig Zag Zoom. At the end of the month, the MelonHeads are having a presentation on bindings so I did a flange binding on this quilt as an example.

pattern: Zig Zag Zoom
panto: serpentine

Flange bindings add just the right amount of zing to a project! What a perfect choice for this finish!

I love this pattern. Great colours too. Congrats on the finishing and the flange binding. I haven't try that yet. ;^)

Oh what a cute quilt! Thanks for the links. I'm glad the links were not YouTube videos. I learn better with the written word! I think I tried flange binding once because I like the look but I'm not a very good stitch-in-the-ditcher so I didn't like the look of my flange binding.

The orange flange in the binding really sets a spark to this quilt!

I've never tried a flange binding but have watched a couple of videos to see how it's done. It's on my "some day" list. Those pops of orange in your quilt really makes this special. Awesome finish!

I've got the pattern, courtesy of you, and I'm contemplating what fabrics to use -- this b/w/novelty is a great variation.
