Aprons for *Maids*

The two Four Corners Aprons.

The girls had gone through the scraps of black and white to pick out fabric for their aprons. I made M-A-M type blocks and then sewed them to get a size that I thought would work for the girls. Yesterday at DD's basketball game, I made the yo-yo's and sewed them onto the top flap.

Not a whole lot of quilt-y happening here. So not very much to share. :(

What a cute idea, Pat! I love the idea of making yardage from MAM blocks and then making the aprons!

Now those look like they will work for the maids costumes with the fabric selections. The leftovers from DS's quilt and some nice grays found a new home. Good that you could involve them in the process.

I was machine quilting for a bit yesterday but that quilt is wearing me out with all the pivoting. I keep thinking that once more of those pins are out the easier it will be but I didn't make much headway. SIGH

What a great idea for this pattern and a nifty way to use up stash. I love this apron pattern, don't you?
