I sewed the brown strip onto the *opposite* side of the bottom framing strip as directed.What should I do?!
Frog the 11 out of 12 that are *opposite* and re-sew?

Make 1 the *opposite* way, use what I have made and just sew *opposite*? Sounds just a tad confusing for me! lol

Make 1 more *opposite* and sewed the blocks together *opposite* of the directions.Guess What?!
I'm liking the pattern marching from left to right. :) do you?!

ROFL--the pattern is kinda confusing--I laid out the blocks several times and stared at the picture! But yes, I agree, no one will KNOW you turned them the other way! Except us who read!
It looks like you figured out a solution just fine! I love that music fabric--very rich colours!
Necessity is the mother of invention---you made it your own! Nothing wrong with that as no doubt that is how any block or design is made--trial and error and "how would it look if I did........."
Hurray for a quick finish to flimsy!
