WIP Wednesday 1.14.2026

I did sew the binding onto the Memory Quilt. I've decided that I want to sew the binding back by hand. That will be the next hurdle with this project.

Last year for Quilting Gail's Stay at Home Round Robin, Cathy at Sane, Crazy Crumby Quilting used the prompts as a row by row instead of a round robin. I have totally fallen in love with this idea! I went to my RWB bin and found two leftover Barn Star blocks. Luckily, I had the directions in the box (amazing, right? and precut star fabric, double amazing!). The two blocks on the left are the orphans and the two on the right are the newbies.

Ta-Da! My first row for the Stay at Home Round Robin...

This is the page of directions for the Barn Star block. Origin: Unknown

That's such a nice star block with the central flag, very patriotic indeed.

Doing a row-by-row for the SAHRR '26 is a great idea! You're off to a fantastic start! Thank you for joining in the SAHRR '26 and for linking up!
