SoScrappy Saturday 8.29.2026

Today is the fifth Saturday of August of the color yellow. Yellow was not completely lost in my vacation as I sewed a few yellow/gray 4 patches. I did take the fabrics to guild one Wednesday and thanks to my table mates who pressed my 'parts' as I made them and even 'frogged' my sewing errors. :) The yellow/gray is a little difficult to 'see' against the design wall...

pattern: 4 patch: public domain
I cut my strips at 3.5 inches, sew the long edges together, subcut at
3.5 inches and sew into pairs. My result is 6.5 inch unfinished 4
                    patches.

A wonderful accomplishment--very calming which isn't usually the case with yellows!

I love yellow and grey together. I think it's my favourite yellow combo. My bathroom is honey and charcoal. It feels warm and solid at the same time. Enjoy! ;^)
