Look what arrived in the snail mail today!Goodies from Chris at Greetings from the Shady Grove. Chris was a guest blogger on Simply Robin's blog and hosted a triple give away. Here is Chris' Guest Blogger post. One Give Away was from her blog. One from her Etsy store, DyeCandy and one from Simply Robin's blog. I was lucky to be drawn as the winner from her Etsy Store, DyeCandy. Chris asked me to pick one item from her store and that was my prize! How cool is that?! She has so many wonderful items for sale, it was hard to choose! Chris also included other goodies as well. Hersey kisses that taste like M&M's (DS was really excited to taste these tidbits), some wonderful magnets that I'm thinking she made using quilt blocks as the centers, the yard of hand dyed fabric and a wonderful bunny note! Chris was very creative and used a pattern as the 'stuffing' in the box! :)

DD helped pick out the yard of hand dyed fabric and has claimed it already. Her 'wheels are spinning' as to what we should make with it.A purse? A French Board?

Thanks for the nice post Pat. I love using those tissue paper patterns for packaging. I bought 500 patterns from my girlfriends estate sale. Some of them date back to the late 70's. I've already used up the down vest patterns with models that looked suspiciously like Willie Ames and the 90's shirt patterns that featured a Jeff Goldblum look alike. Happy Sewing! Chris
