Earlier in the week, I finished the binding (by machine!) on the Beth Dutton quilt. I think she is beautiful in her simplicity. 😍
pattern: Beth Dutton quilt with 9 inch finished 9 patches set on point

Earlier today, I finished the binding (by machine, again!) on the 2 color rail fence. This is the first in a series I am making for my 3.5 inch strip trunk show. I decided to make this set of quilt a little smaller (48 x 60) so the 'making' would be faster. 😍
pattern: 3.5 x 6.5 inch cut bricks set in Windmill pattern
(truth: I cut 3.5 wide pink/purple then sewed together on the
long side then subcut into 6.5 inch units. I then assembled
the blocks.)

Your Beth Dutton quilt turned out wonderfully, Pat! I like the simple design. And sewing strips and then sub-cutting for the pinwheels sounds like the perfect method!
Beautiful work on the 4 patch creation! The first of the series is a good job!
Your quilts are always amazing, and I love seeing them!
Ohhh Great quilts!! Welcome to the world of Machine Binding - the only way I know how to do it haha
