Today is the fourth Saturday of June of the color orange. Today is also the day to reveal the Table Scraps Challenge...June's prompt is 'Life's a Beach'.
I went to my trusty bin of novelties and found fabrics with sea life motifs. I did manage to add a bit of orange into the log cabin Meals on Wheels place mats.
pattern: log cabin sewn as quilt as you go.
For my mini mat, I found a novelty with lighthouses and a beach. I framed it out with sand and blue.

Great way to fit the beach-y theme! That mini mat has all the things in it--lighthouse, tug boat, sailboat, pelican, seashells and more!!!
Sea life and lighthouses and beaches...definitely hitting the theme, Pat and all so pretty in gorgeous shades.
Great placemats, Pat! I love the turtle print. And the lighthouse print is perfect for your mini mat, too. Fun!
Perfect Table Scraps project that already has a home!
I really like the way you framed the beach scene!!
Great use of the TABLE SCRAPS Challenge theme in those placemats and your new table mat! You found fun ways to showcase ORANGE for the June RSC Color of the Month, too.
Hi Pat, those are great placemats and a wonderful mini!
