SAHRR : Border 2: 1.29.2026

Prompt #2 was released yesterday for the SAHRR. Our hostess for this round is Kathleen McMusing. Kathleen chose 'Make it Double'. Any border element that deals with 2. I did a quick Google Search and found Double Arrow in Piece and Quilt's blog. I printed out the picture and changed the sizes so that the block is 12.5 inches unfinished. I DID make a 6.5 inch (unfinished) hourglass from the technique I learned last week. :)

Here are my four Double Arrow blocks.

Here they are all sewn into a row!

Ooh, neat idea! I haven't seen that block before. I like how the flying geese can make a star shape!

I love it when we can inspiration from fellow quilters: it looks that it came at the right time for a double prompt. Your quilt is coming along nicely, and love those double arrows!

That is a great block. I’m going to have to put that one in my notebook of ideas!
I’m really anxious to see all your rows together.
