Remember this pile of leftover 3.5 inch cut strips from the 1/4 Log Cabin Quilts, blogged here and here?
Since I had duplicates, I decided to make two leftover 'lasagna' style quilts. I looked in the stash for 'something' to coordinate but didn't find anything that I liked. So off to the local Hobby Lobby, where I found a woodland animal print that I liked.
First I made the quilt with the animals horizontal.
I then made one with the animals vertical orientation.
I'm not really 'grooving' to either one but I did use up the leftover 3.5 inch strips so I am considering it a win!
