Imagine my surprise/excitement when I was leafing through the newest Fabric Cafe Book - Make It Scrappy with 3 Yard Quilts - and discovered the Jumble pattern uses the Echo Block from the QOV Foundation site! Although it is a different size, 9.5 inches unfinished in Jumble and 10.5 inches unfinished in Echo. I re-worked the alternate block in Jumble to match the Echo blocks and started piecing on Thursday Sew Day last week.
Here is what I had at the end of Sew Day. Notice the leftover Echo blocks being used! ekk! so fun!
pattern: a combination of Echo blocks and Jumble from Fabric Cafe's

I love this!!! We just made the echo blocks at our sew day - but what a fun way to change the pattern up!!!
I didn't notice the block was the same as Echo. You had a great idea to just change the size of the alternate block to work with Echo. I have a few of the Echo blocks made, and may need to give this some thought as I really like how your looks.
That's a pretty design, Pat! I like the diagonals in it. I think I have that same flag print at my house - I've just been making some stars for a QOV block drive.
Nice!
