Today is the first Saturday of February of the color dark green. I decided to make my Meals-on-Wheels place mats. Right now, I'm using the un-even log cabin with a 6.5 inch novelty in the upper left corner and 3.5 inch cut strips. I plan to turn the blue and green placemats in at the guild meeting next Thursday night.
I was surprised in my stash, I only found 3 (!) 6.5 inch St. Patrick's Day squares. So I have one rogue polar bear novelty that had a wee bit of green! :)
pattern: un-even log cabin
quilting: stitch in the ditch on my Baby Brother (piecing machine)

I'm pressed you had St. Patrick's Day fabric to begin with. The placemats are perfect for corn beef and cabbage night.
Those are so fun, Pat! I think the polar bear print is cute!
Nice placemats--the novelty prints are sweet!
