I actually sewed alone in my space but I joined the FB Working Stars group on line. The admins for the day strongly suggested making the 2026 QOV Block of the Year: Echoes. So I did!
I prepped 14 out at a time and strip pieced the parts before assembly line sewing.
I repeated this procedure 4 times...two sets with red corners and two sets with blue corners. I made 56 blocks total and will use 48 in this quilt. (That means 8 will be sent to the orphanage!) The block is 10 inches finished so a 6 x 8 setting will yield a QOV that is 60 x 80 (before quilting) with no borders.
Sometimes I like the simplicity of a quilt that is just blocks. :)

The FB Working Stars group reported a whopping 903 blocks made! That's enough for 18 QOV's like mine! Way to go group!
