1. scrappy backing. I mixed it up a little this time and made the back before I finished the top!
2. finished sewing the framing strips onto the novelty squares. I used 6.5 inch novelties (since I have a bin!) and 2.0 inch cut framing strips. The block finishes at 9.0 inches.pattern based on Happy Blocks by Mary
