The fun thing about smaller quilts (less than twin (60 x 80)) is that they finish faster! Less pieceing, less quilting and less binding!
My finishes for this week are the 1/4 Log Cabin Leftovers. it feels good to complete both quilts.
This first one has a fabric insert arranged horizontally.
pattern: I just call it 'Lasagna Leftovers'
The fabric is a 12.5 x WOF of a novelty. 2.5 inch cut top/bottom
border. I then seamed the 'leftovers' on the short end with a
straight join, cut to length to match the novelty and bordered
it all with 2.5 inch cuts. My binding is the same fabric as the
outer border.
panto: serpentine
The second quilt has the novelty as a vertical insert.
panto: serpentine
Are these my favorite quilts? No but they will be nice donation quilts and very little of the blue and gray are leftover. The woodland print? That's another story and another quilt...<sigh>

Great idea, Pat, and I love the name Lasagna Leftovers! I bet you will find something creative to do with that pretty woodland print. Maybe cut in squares and mix it up four patches? 😊
Ha - I love this!! this is a great idea - and who doesn't LOVE leftover Lasagna!!!
Impressive finish! They look good!
