Today is the first Saturday of February of the color pink!
My pinks are a little slim in the cabinet, so I'm a little unsure of my choice for framing fabrics. I'll have to remember to use calmer fabric for future frames.
pattern: 4.5 inch cut novelties, 2.5 x 4.5 and 2.5 x 8.5 inch cut framing strips

Adorable mermaids!
The mermaid borders are busy, for sure. In a fun and funky sort of way, Pat! You could always cut some of it away to add another narrow border to calm things down a bit, if it really bothers you.
Those are fun and happy, Pat! Are you planning to mix them up with other blocks that will have different borders? I bet they'll fit right in!
