Stash Busting Report Week #52

Wow! I made it to the end of 2008! I decided to add up the fabric received in and fabric used to get a handle on 'what was happening'. I knew that I was keeping pretty even with it all and here are my final numbers:

  • fabric received in (year total): 336.5 yards
  • fabric used (year total): 352.5 yards

Net fabric (for the year): -16 yards (used)

I didn't reach my goal of using 100 yards of stash but 2009 is a new year, right?!

Welcome home!!! You did a GREAT job this year....to use more than you bought is fantastic!

I think you did remarkably well, Pat. As Infinity Quilter said you used more than you added to the existing stash. I guarantee that many of us can't say that.

Have a safe trip home!

I don't think even Judy used more than she took in! Nice going!

You really did a great job of keeping up with your stash this year, and a lot of great projects to show for it to boot! Any idea what your focus for 2009 might be?

You got lots of projects finished this year. And, 2009 is a whole new ball game. I think I will search for a coupon to use......

Oh what a good idea - I am really just building a stash myself, but how fun to keep track of how much comes in and out throughout a year? I think I will have to try this - how do you figure scraps? I use a lot of scraps for projects. :)

You must have done a TON of sewing this year! I don't think I have 100 yards of fabric in my house!!! :)
