Today is the fourth Saturday of May of the color orange. One of the more challenging colors for me! I wonder 'what' June's color will be?! EDIT: Angela announce that dark and bright blue are the color prompt for June!
Time for my braid. I'm on the 'right' track but...not quite there yet. LOL...NOW I know how I end up with so many orphans in my sewing room!

I always enjoy seeing your braid blocks! Looking forward to seeing how you put them all together. I think we already did dark and bright blues, so thinking I will turn June into light blue month!
Braid blocks have such great "movement" to them. I've only made one braid quilt, and that was a few years ago when my niece got married. Maybe it's time for another.
You made good use of your limited supply of ORANGE scraps, Pat!!
I agree with Diann! We did Dark and Bright Blue in January! I'll do light blue too!
One of these days, I'll do a braid like that. I have done something similar in the past, but can't remember how or when!! LOL
Your orange braid looks good to me. One of the great things about scraps is how they natural blend with each other.
Orange is a challenging colour for me too. Mind you, I've recently just purchased 1m of orange solid because it is just the colour needed for a children's quilt I'm working on.
Orange is one of those colors that's best in small doses. I'm happy to see the orange month end. I'll also do light blues this month. The braid is great!
Pretty braid block. I don't have much orange in my stash either, but enough to make a quilt.
orange is so challenging for me that I have to buy it every year😄 orange just isn't one of sewing colors, the braid block is interesting, can't wait to see how they start to come together
Your braid block looks great. Lots of orangy variety!
I like that braid - and what a laugh - that makes sense how you end up with orphans...but you make such GREAT use of them!!!!
