I decided to mix things up and pull out a children's panel. Of course, I didn't take a picture of it! It's a calendar snowman panel that I picked up at my Wisconsin day guild off of the free table with the intention of making it and donating in Wisconsin. I decided to add borders on two sides reflecting the month of the piece. Well, I had a little math mishap...I wanted to square up to 12.5 for 12 inch finished but...
Here are all the panels with the two borders added.
Surprise! Late Friday afternoon DS called and said he had an after hours delivery to the Home Depot about 20 minutes from the bungalow. After our run to Costco, we headed over to the Home Depot parking lot and spent about an hour with DS! and yes...we woke him up from a nap at 7:30 pm. He did text and he arrived home at about 12:30 am... It was fun to visit even if for a quick hour.

Isn't that cute?! You do good work with panels. Sounds good to be able to visit with your son, anytime, anywhere! During Covid times, we've been meeting our kids halfway in between our respective homes(250 miles apart) for a picnic and afternoon of visiting. It's been a good way to see them when we didn't feel like there was a safer way.
No matter for the math goof... it's a darling little quilt. Nice to hear you got a visit in to your son. We've been visiting more recently although through Feb this year it was always outside. Including a very cold Christmas celebration on our son's deck! We're waiting to hear when our grands can get vaccinated. Hopefully soon considering the rise in the number of children coming down with it.
